Lumenec LED:FS weather protected flexible strip is the same as HBR-WHT, but with a weather protective coating.
- Description
Lumenec LED:FS weather protected flexible strip is the same as HBR-WHT, but with a protective coating. It consists of 3 x 5050 LEDs per 100mm on a flexible copper strip with double sided tape for mounting to most clean surfaces, and is covered with a PU coating ensuring that the strip is protected from moisture and humidity. The strip can be cut every 100mm between sets of copper pads, with each cut section able to be powered from 12v DC and re-joinable to other sections by soldering to the copper pads. Cuts need to be resealed with silicon to ensure the weather protection remains intact. WHB-WHT can be used under water, however it is not designed as an underwater product and therefore may have reduced life.
It is ideal for areas exposed to moisture that require maximum brightness like kitchens and bathrooms, or external areas such as verandahs and patios. It is also perfect for external signage in areas that are exposed to moisture and humidity. WHB-WHT is also often used in camping applications where protection from moisture and protection from impact is important.
