A federal harmonisation of state consumer laws came into effect 1 January 2011. (See Australian Consumer Law).
From the 1 January 2012, the law with regards to warranty against defects is applicable. As a result Lumenec has changed it’s product warranties to comply with the new law. Our warranty is now available in 2 documents: (1) Statutory Consumer Guarantee – for consumers the buy our products for consumer use, and (2) Lumenec Trade Warranty – for customers who purchase our products to use in the manufacture of other products (available to trade customers only).
